SKY CITY NYE Celebration.
This year I was lucky enough to work with the BodyFX team on the Butterfly girl at this years new Years Eve party celebration. At one scary point my model passed out from lack of food and too much heat!. more
  The Grande Congregation 2007 .
Nocturnal Customs traveled down to Wellington to compete in the Body Art Rocks competition as part of The Grand Congregation. We had a great time and I sang one of my songs while Phloss performed for the judges and audience. The trip down was made easier with the assistance of Dee Salt who drove most of the way there and back. We met up with Phloss and Hayden and Wellington Airport after finally stashing some luggage in a motel lobby as it was too early to check in. After a quick Mc Dee's breakfast we hit the basin reserve and started setting up for an epic day of gluing and body painting. 7pm hit and our model was dragged into the basin and trapped in darkness for an hour as tours of guests were taken into their unsuspecting lairs. While they were occupied I dashed back to the hotel room to have a shower and get changed. Then at 8pm the performance began. I had missed all the tours and dinner as I was wanting for Dee to return with Hayden who had locked his hotel room key inside the room. Finally came the time for creature and prosthetics and my turn for some stage fright as I hadn't sung live in 12 years. The music was a beat early throwing me off and making the backing vocals out of sync so I had to repeat a line to sync up and as we had never had a proper rehearsal with the correct starting point Phloss didn't now what her final lyric mark was and stepped off the stage early and then thrown off by the continuing vocals turned around to get back on stage but not before I had realized what was happening and stopped singing to disappear shamefully backstage. Otherwise I thing it went damn well given the lack of sleep and food. .
